Knitting Pattern for Cotton Peg Bag

This peg bag has been designed to be knit in Rowan's hand knit cotton (2 x 50gram balls). It can be knit in any double knit cotton yarn, just knit a swatch to ensure the gauge is somewhere near. I have knit in a variety of cotton yarns , all have turned out at different sizes and all look great 

I have knit it in

Peaches and Cream worsted cotton yarn using the 4mm needles and I get the size to be 11 inches wide. 11 inches from top to bottom.

Rowan Calmer yarn using the 4mm needles and I get the size to be 21 cm / 8 inches wide. 23 cm / 8.5 inches from top to bottom

Rowan Savannah yarn using the 4mm needles and I get the size to be 24 cm / 9 inches wide. 25 cm / 9.4 inches from top to bottom

I developed this pattern because my daughter demanded I knit her a peg bag. Looking around I could not find one to my liking. She has hers on proud display in her kitchen.
