To create a colourful, exciting Yarn Bomb Installation and Shop Window Trail using a variety of hand-made HATS. 

Was unveiled on World-Wide Knit in Public Day – 10th June 2023.

All the hats in the trail will be washed and donated to homeless/refugee charities after the festival making it sustainable and give all the HATS another life.

Still time to get involved! We need lots of hand-made knitted, crocheted, felted, woven HATS. Any pattern or style. If you create a HAT masterpiece, we will include it in our unique HAT Trail and Auction to raise funds for Sanctuary Kirklees: Shared Goods Project.

HAT donation boxes will be at Slaithwaite Post Office, Slaithwaite Library and Green Valley Grocer in Slaithwaite or can be posted to The Watershed, Bridge Street, Slaithwaite HD7 5JN
