Madison Jacket Knitting Kit Green ONLY

Knitting kit for a Chunky hooded baby’s jacket.

 

This is knit in a traditional way with 2 front, sleeves and the back which are brought together for the hood construction. The technique used for this soft chunky knit is Brioche. The pattern assumes knowledge of the Brioche knitting and the abbreviations used. Some basic information is included. More information is available on my web site for those not knitted Brioche before. 

 

One size 6 - 12 months - Chest (buttoned) 22” /56cm, Length 13.5” / 34cm, Upper arm 11” / 28cm.

 

This pattern had been tested by 2 experienced knitters that have not knitted Brioche before.

 

Yarn included in the kit - 3 x 100 grams Stylecraft Alpaca Chunky in either Sage Green. (Pink Sold out) Toggles included. 

 

Gauge 14 stitches and 20 rows = 4 inches in stocking stitch

 

Needles required - US 10 - 6.0 mm circular.  You will be knitting flat.
